I get déjà vu a lot.
Almost every day I feel like I’ve seen this exact moment before, even when I’m in a completely new place.

I’ll grab a door handle or turn to face someone and I’m instantly pulled away, and pushed into a feeling of my past.
I’ve started to wonder if it is a cycle or something I do that trips this mental response, even though it’s probably just all random pulses and chemicals inside my brain lying to me.

The album isn’t really about déjà vu, maybe it is, just being honest with you, I cant really tell anymore.
Sometimes I listen back and think it’s about the memories of a person, other times it’s all about connection, and sometimes it’s just white noise.

I just felt stuck, like fresh wings still covered in blood and viscera, so I thought I would purge it from my system and move to my next arc.

I just couldn’t let it continue like this.
